What's an online game that's like this?

I'm looking for a free online game, it's okay if I have to download it, that doesn't involve killing, but you could get a job, design a character, etc. The whole killing thing gets kind of old, played so many games that's just kill, kill, quest, kill... Played Runescape for a few years, been playing Maplestory for a couple years, Conquer Online for a year or so, started playing Wizard 101, started playing WonderKing, list goes on. Totally an addictive game freak, I love wasting my time.



Please don't recommend Habbo (played for five minutes, got bored, has no idea what I was suppose to even do), or something.



So, I'm looking for a simulation game pretty much. Don't recommend Sims, I have Sims 3, I don't play it though since it slowed down my computer and went way too slow. I heard of Second Life (is that what it's called?) is it any good? What do I really do in it?

Well, another game sorta like Runescape but amazingly better so it shouldn't be compared to runescape is Guild Wars. Its the kill/quest thing but with a storyline, classes, many weapons/mods/armor/spells/attackes/etc. Its around $20 at Best Buy. Over 6 million players, the sequal Guild Wars 2, is expected to totally wipe out WoW.
