just wait until Modern Warfare 2, it looks amazing
If money is an issue than just wait for Modern Warfare 2. If you can get both I would get Modern Warfare right now and the sequel when it releases. Modern Warfare 2 will most likely be better than the original and everyone's going to be playing that one.
P.S. - Call of Duty 5 doesn't suck. It's the same thing as Modern Warfare just in a WWII environment. The problem is that it just copies everything Modern Warfare did so there's no use in getting it. Plus, Modern Warfare looks cooler.

i heard there are going to be 20 prestiges in the new multiplayer for modern warfare 2. only 10 for call of duty 4. plus, cod 4 is like 3 years old! its not any good. cod 5 is actually really fun i cant believe anybody would say it sucks. the graphics own!
Call of duty 5 sucks because the juggernaut is rigged.

modern warfare 2 is not a call of duty the people who made modern warfare 1 are making another one of there own back so it will be like call of duty modern warfare only alot better and by the way call of duty 4 is way better then 5

if u want online play wait for modern warfare 2 as many people ditched modern warfare 1 and call of duty 5 does not suck but it is a disappointment
if u r going to use the story mode for modern warfare 2 then u might want to get the 1st one

I think Modern Warfare 2. Most current Call of Duty 4 online players will move on to Modern Warfare 2 when it's released.
In my opinion, World at War is so much better than Modern Warfare.
