Numbers, for those who dont know, is a crime solving show about an FBI agent who allows his mathmetician brother to help him solve cases.
On one of the episodes they tried to track these people playing an online game that would require them to basically complete a scavenger hunt. but the scavenger hunt items could only be seen from a cell phone camera or special gps device.

Actually, it's geocaching. Though, I don't believe there's an actual online game that involves it unless you count that a lot of the communication happens over the internet.Is it real? [an online game that you play in real life]?
yeah, its called Geo Cashing...you take hikes in the woods and find little boxes people have left behind.
Kinda neat....i guess...
