a couple years ago i used to play half-life multiplayer on the pc. and obviously there were different courses, but what i liked was you could play as characters from the game (ie: scientist, marine, gordon, guard, zombie). it's definately been out for a while, i just can't think of the name. if anyone could help me think of the name i'd appreciate that. also, for online multiplayers like that, is there anything specific i need to do to play (things i might need to buy or download - - i do have game spy arcade and i have the half-life cd i can install but it's pretty old)Online half-life multiplayer for the pc?

Half Life 1 series still has online, but I believe its through Steam now.
